GENMA-KALMAR將向一家海外客戶碼頭提供14臺混動輪胎吊。這批輪胎吊配備了最新的電池混動技術，旨在提升客戶碼頭的裝卸能力和運營效率，標志向可持續、環保港口邁出重要一步。為滿足客戶戰略部署的需要，這些輪胎吊將通過不同的運輸方式運抵客戶碼頭的不同區域。

RSGT Bangladesh, the first privately-owned container terminal in Bangladesh, has recently announced an agreement with GENMA-KALMAR. RSGT Bangladesh signed a 22-year concession agreement with the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) in December of 2023 to operate the newly constructed PCT facility, becoming the first foreign terminal operating company to begin operations in Bangladesh. 

The deal entails the supply of 14 RTG cranes to RSGT, which aims to significantly increase its handling capacity and operational efficiency. The 14 RTGs, equipped with the latest battery hybrid power technology, represent a significant leap towards sustainable and eco-friendly port operations. To cater to RSGT's operational needs, the cranes will be dispatched using two distinct shipment methods – Knocked Down and Fully Erected and strategically deployed across the terminal's two sites.

“We are incorporating sustainable practices into our operations. This includes reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through the use of hybrid RTGs and other eco-friendly technologies. The investment in these new RTGs represents a significant step in our mission to upgrade terminal operations at Chittagong Port, and in the Bangladeshi logistics supply chain” Mr. Erwin Haaze, CEO RSGT, commended. 

Each RTG crane is loaded with an array of safety, ergonomic, and smart operation features, including automatic fire suppression, stack profiling, DGPS, RCMS, Electronic-Mechanical antisway and automatic lubrication systems, etc. These advancements not only enhance the safety of port personnel but also optimize crane performance and reduce maintenance downtime.
